We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Account Executive to join our fast-paced and collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and exceptional communication skills. You will be responsible for business development, building relationships, and closing deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
This role offers a unique opportunity to be an early contributor to our growth journey and shape the future of equipment finance and asset-based lending with your expertise.
What You’ll Do
Business Development: Proactively identify and target potential clients within the financial services segment - Banks & Equipment Finance companies. Research and understand needs, pain points, and objectives to position our solutions effectively.
Lead Generation: Generate new leads through various channels, including cold outreach, networking, industry events, and leveraging existing contacts.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in client organizations. Establish trust and credibility by understanding their challenges and presenting tailored solutions.
Solution Presentation: Conduct engaging and impactful presentations to showcase our products and services, highlighting our value proposition and benefits to potential clients.
Consultative Selling: Employ a consultative sales approach to deeply understand client requirements and offer customized solutions that address their specific needs.
Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure. Keep detailed records of interactions and activities in our CRM / Sales engagement systems.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to provide a solution overview and client recommendations for our offerings.
Sales Reporting: Provide the management team with regular deal forecasts, activity reports, and updates. Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
What You’ll Need
5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and quotas.
Ability to consistently find, work and move prospects through the funnel.
Strong negotiation and closing skills with a strategic mindset.
Ability to understand complex client needs and translate them into effective solutions.
Experience using CRM & Sales Engagement software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Salesloft) to manage leads and sales activities.
Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for driving growth.
Adaptability to a dynamic startup environment and willingness to take on multiple responsibilities as needed.
Experience with and managing a SaaS sales process.
Ability to travel to industry events, conferences, etc.
