We’re building our founding team of engineers, who will form the DNA of the Micah™ platform. As a Sr. Software Developer, you’ll be a critical part of an agile team that builds innovative software, iterates quickly, and solves complex problems. What You’ll Do
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable server-side code
Integrate data storage solutions, which may include databases, key-value stores and blob stores
Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers through server-side logic
Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Work closely with product team to develop, define and execute projects
Support Scrum and Agile software development approach (e.g., spring, standups, retros, planning, pointing, grooming, etc.)
What You’ll Need
4–7+ years of professional working experience
Working knowledge of Python and Object-Oriented language
Experience with modern component architectures (React, Vue, Angular)
Experience with Web Services, such as REST, JSON/WSDL/XML
Ability to analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
Familiarity with open source software and tools
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Data Architecture
Nice to Have
Experience with Python, Django, Postgres
Experience with Angular, Angular Material, Angular CLI
Experience with Docker, MongoDB and GCP
Key-value storage Redis, Google DNS, Google Vision OCR, CI Jenkins
Fintech or financial services industry experience
